I agreed last year that I would write this piece, after an individual on a Kansas social media group claimed Trevor Jacobs was responsible for handing the election to Laura Kelly with his signature in support of Dennis Pyle running for Governor as an Independent, instead of running as a Republican. The party member told me to write an article, condemning his actions.
The individual was angry at Trevor and justified Republicans not signing the plea to the Governor to send assistance to the southern border because Trevor was the letter’s author. The person claimed that what is happening in the State of Kansas right now is Trevor’s fault, caused by his splitting the vote and not being loyal to the Party’s chosen candidate.
I pointed out that this is Laura’s second term and asked who the accuser believed was to blame for her first term. I questioned where the blame and bickering stops and solutions start.
I reminded the person that our country is occupied by infiltrators at every level of government and that the future of our country and the lives of our children are in danger!
I pleaded for people to lay down their grievances and come together, side-by-side, for truth and freedom or else their grudges will be responsible for the loss of every election into the future because –
DIVIDED WE FALL!
“If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”
Mark 3:25
In this person’s defense, this divisiveness on this topic has been a cancer in the Kansas Republican Party since the 2022 election – among many other divisions.
The eye-for-an-eye attitude, and the “do as I say but not as I do” mindset, is no stranger to any organization. In fact, this kind of hypocrisy is prevalent in most gatherings of people and relationships, after a certain amount of comfort in their roles sets in.
Everyone can justify, and explain away, why their short-sighted viewpoint of their own offenses, on topics that they despise in others, is somehow different – when it’s them in the role of offender instead of the victim.
We talk about our victimhood, but we don’t shine light on our offenses that victimize others.
Politics is ripe with offenses, allegiances, alliances, slates of candidate groups, favors, deals, and unspoken duties.
Backroom deals have become such the norm, that eventually no man is truly free to do the work of God because of the duties he’s created for himself to man.
“Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.”
Romans 13:8
“It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.”
Psalm 118:8
While the Kansas Republican Party is set to vote on a loyalty clause, and as many throughout the party in various cliques and groups feel like someone in an opposing group has violated the loyalty clause and “done them wrong” about something, I feel compelled to bring it full circle.
This topic has been heavy on my heart all last year, as I watch the storylines unfold before me.
But as I watch the invasion at the Southern Border, an act of war on our country, and I see every state but Kansas standing with her neighbors, I get angry. Then I see Johnson and Miami County joining Kansas City, MO in being a “certified welcoming city” with Welcoming America.
What are we doing, Kansas?
Is this the plan, or is it foolish pride destroying our country?
Then I find House Bill 2516 has been introduced, changing the number of signatures required for an independent to run for office from 5,000 to 25,000 and removing the option to pay a fee in lieu of signatures.
No longer can I remain quiet. This bill screams of being a slap on the wrist to Dennis Pyle, but it’s really an attack on my children, and every other person who has been told, “You can be anything you want to be. Reach for the stars!”
Except for a public servant. You can’t be that, unless you want to be forced to be loyal to a disloyal political party or get 25,000 of your closest friends to sign, asking “the crown” for permission to run against their chosen candidates.
Requiring 25,000 signatures for an independent to participate in an election, to me, just looks like two parties playing party politics and making sure no one can play their game with them.
I’m going to address party loyalty here, not in an attack on the person, but in exposing the hypocrisy and division that is perpetuated when we turn a blind eye to the truth.
In doing so, I hope that everyone will search their own hearts and see their own inequities in order to right their wrongs and move forward in truth and unity for freedom and protection from the real enemy that prowls around like a lion, looking for someone to devour.
Loyal Candidates
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [money, possessions, fame, status, or whatever is valued more than the Lord].”
Matthew 6:24-26
How can anyone expect another to give blind loyalty to a person who does not deserve that loyalty?
“Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.”
1 Corinthians 4:2
If a political candidate does not treasure the support of the people by demanding themselves to give the absolute best version of themselves in service to those trusting in them, then why should there be a responsibility of the party members to be loyal to a disloyal candidate or representative?
“Many a man proclaims his own loyalty, But who can find a trustworthy (faithful) man?”
Proverbs 20:6
Last year, I listened to three amazing speakers who escaped Communist countries. As I listened, I couldn’t help but see the parallels between the forced allegiance to a person or ideology that causes victims of communism to turn a blind eye and be forced into silence vs blind loyalty to a political agenda or a person in a party- as is often expected of members – when those “leaders” are not worthy of trust and honor.
Respect is earned – not demanded. Loyalty is earned by being loyal, not by being a sellout for selfish pride, insecurities, financial gain, or personal agendas.
Forced loyalty is not freedom, and in fact, it is slavery.
“A faithful man will abound with blessings.”
Proverbs 28:20
Expecting blind party loyalty to a party member, merely because they have a party affiliation on paper, separates the loyalty-giver’s ability to be faithful to God – their true leader – when the two paths are in conflict.
If party members want loyal support of candidates, then they need to offer better candidates – true public servants doing the work of God without compromise, who adhere to party platform ideologies that do not put supporters in opposition to their morals.
Career politicians are destroying our country, and they’re handing over our freedom to the enemy with their allegiances to people, money, and personal “career” advancement, over their oath to God and their constituents.
How many good candidates have been passed over from even being nominated because backroom deals created their own political slates and career goals, unbeknownst to everyone else who may have wanted to throw their hats in the ring, had they been given the opportunity?
Once the slates are announced, you’re almost considered a traitor if you don’t support it – or you’re looked upon as being against a person or persons on the slate if you want to nominate anyone outside of the prepared plan.
These slates steal what may be someone else’s God-ordained role, through the selfish orchestrating of someone’s self-absorbed ego’s desires, outside of the walls of transparency. This is not just for the big elections either, but all the way down to the local city and county seats.
“If you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?”
Luke 16:12
The arrogance of a preordained person or persons, standing before the party demanding loyalty, when they, themselves, were disloyal to the very tenants of freedom on so many levels, is mind-boggling.
By placing themselves on a pedestal as more qualified or better suited than another, and by leadership demanding everyone also celebrate the Emperor with no clothes, it only sets people up to have a form of idolatry of a person over God.
“Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.”
Proverbs 3:7
I’m just going to say it. Anyone mad at someone for not supporting Derek Schmidt needs to look at where Derek is now – working for the law firm of Husch Blackwell, a partner on the Climate Action KC Playbook, and where the extreme liberal Johnson County Chairman Mike Kelly is also a partner.
These law firms can say they have many lawyers in multiple offices and cannot be responsible for one attorney’s beliefs, but they, as a firm, are on this plan as a partner.
This is a key component of the company’s core values to partner with a plan like this.
Derek took his 6-month-long hiatus “at the request of a friend” before deciding his next steps. Was this wise advice aimed at taking time to listen to God’s guidance, or was it merely fulfilling the legal time required by law after serving in office before going to work for a company with a potential conflict of interest to avoid any revolving door policy violations? Derek took money from Husch Blackwell for a long time, according to his campaign finance reports.
The Climate Agenda is a Freedom Grab for a One-World Government
How does that align with Republican values?
Any candidate who promotes this ideology, or who is funded by or aligns with lobbyists or affiliates that promote this communist ideology, is aligning with the enemy of freedom – the enemy of God!
The Climate Action KC Plan, the Global Covenant of Mayors, Mid-America Regional Council, and others are funded by the European Union and the UN in order to implement the Paris Climate Agreement.
This is a direct violation of the Party Platform and should be a violation of the loyalty clause for the offender, instead of forcing the rest of the party to “be loyal” to an agenda that directly violates their inherent morals and beliefs.
XIII ENERGY –
“We oppose efforts to force communities to engage in sustainable development under guidance from the federal government or the United Nations.”
There should be no free pass just because the disloyal party is a “good person” who quotes Bible verses and gets most of the other platform issues right because this UN-Controlled-agenda is set to steal our freedom and destroy our republic. Evergy openly admits to following the UN Sustainability Agenda, and they are getting away with it!
Mike Kelly is heard here stating they will be able to implement the global climate agenda without necessarily receiving the approval of the more than 100 jurisdictions in the regional group. That is the direct definition of forcing communities to engage in sustainable development under guidance from the United Nations.
Derek has shown his colors by joining this group – you are known by your fruits and the company you keep. How long has he been loyal to their agenda while in office working for us? How far did these ideologies advance in Kansas due to these partnerships and deals?
The partnerships amongst these climate law firms should be concerning for everyone.
“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.”
Luke 16:10
Now, one can pose the argument that he is doing this after the election, so there was no grounds to claim his lack of loyalty prior to this. To that, I say again, a person is known by their fruits.
Derek has made decisions (or lack of appropriate action to protect Kansans) throughout his career that gave glimpses of his allegiances, character, motives, and agendas, prior to this move.
Modern-day Paul Reveres have been chastised for warning about election security concerns, quid-pro-quo grant funding, COVID fraud, vax dangers, and Marxist infiltration, by those who have had blind faith in a system and its “leaders” – people they thought had their best interest at heart.
Christians want to believe in the good in others, and they should be able to do that!
That’s why candidate loyalty to the platform values is imperative if demanding loyalty to the candidates in return.
No one should have been forced to vote against their conscience for a disloyal candidate.
One might try the “Pyle should have primaried him” argument.
I’m not here to defend Pyle’s strategy or actions. I do not know him.
I’m addressing the lie that Republicans should have been required to be loyal to a man who was not loyal to them.
I do know that campaigns of this magnitude are ridiculously expensive and cost-prohibitive for many qualified candidates. I’m not privy to Pyle’s finances, but the average person could not afford to run when the support of the major party donors is in favor of their Chosen Son and blind to the grassroots public servants.
Instead, of continuing the “Pyle lost the election for Schmidt” narrative, they might want to look at why Derek and Dennis’ total combined votes are still 1,806 votes less than Laura’s, meaning if every Pyle voter had voted for Schmidt, he still would have lost.
While they’re blaming Republicans for voting for Dennis, they need to be asking themselves which Republicans actually voted for Laura. The numbers don’t add up.
If we have fair elections and no votes were changed in the Governor’s race, as a large segment of the party claims, then a range of 10,000 to almost 100,000 voters who voted Republican in other races yet voted Democrat in the governor race should be a red flag.
Why is no one talking about that? Why might Republicans be voting for Laura?
Sadly, there’s no signature on a petition to “out” the traitors who directly voted for Laura and gave her the win, like they’re showing for those who signed in support of Pyle.
It’s not just a “major” race problem.
We have members of the party who refuse to acknowledge and work with the new State Party Chair, even publicly slandering party members by name on public groups and news outlets – division and hate. Again, a house divided against itself cannot stand.
We have a registered Republican leader of a Kansas Republican group who got paid by a Missouri Democrat to run his campaign, while claiming it’s okay since it was a “non-partisan” race.
Is that how Mike Kelly got elected? By Republicans, making excuses for their disloyalty by hiding behind “non-partisan races?”
These are typically the same people who hate Trump, hate Charlotte O’Hara, and hate anyone who stands up to the bully because they would rather make deals and trade votes with the bully.
Are these behaviors considered loyalty to Republican values? Because this same offender has chastised people for voting for Pyle, yet he gets paid to help get Democrats elected – while having access to Republican voter data that others may not be privy to.
Does anyone see the hypocrisy?
A member of the “5-2 crew” on the Johnson County Board of County Commissioners, Shirley Allenbrand, is a registered Republican. Does she deserve this loyalty too, as she spits in the face of freedom-loving Republicans whom she steps on while she ascends to her throne and does her part to appease her corporate handlers and rubberstamp everything for Mike Kelly?
A 2023 Lenexa City Council candidate is the chairman of the Johnson County Library Board, which is allowing the Marxist American Library Association (ALA) to infiltrate our libraries, while claiming the parents should be screening what the kids read instead of the library “banning” it. Yet the library hands out the age-inappropriate sexual grooming books for free, outside of the list of checked-out books, preventing parents from having the ability to monitor and screen the books. This lack of loyalty to party values does not deserve voter guide promotion or party loyalty solely because she chose to register as a Republican. She is not upholding the party platform of protecting our children and avoiding pornography.
We know the strategy of the enemy is to pretend to be one of God’s workers.
How can we demand allegiance to this evil?
“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.”
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
We have veteran Republican representatives telling new candidates not to talk about Jesus so much. Is that a campaign strategy or because the sound of the Name above all names irritates his demons as he’s found himself entangled in the traps of the enemy and his own questionable actions with “green” energy?
These seemingly small iniquities can quickly become major stumbling blocks to both the candidate and those trusting them to be a loyal public servant who represents the people over the politics.
As humans, we need to WAKE UP and do better! Do not be that which you hate! Love God, Love People.
The clock is ticking and time is short.
I believe that we are dangerously close to driving in the final nail in the coffin of freedom.
It is imperative that Republican candidates pledge to be loyal to Godly, Republican values if they expect God-fearing Republicans to be loyal to them.
“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.”
2 Chronicles 16:9
Jennifer’s points are well researched & documented & clearly from the heart of a patriot who loves this country as it was conceived & founded by those who literally pledged their lives, their sacred honor & their fortunes to one another to make this happen. Totally inferior to the British war machine, they reached out to God, persevered in their view of the task at hand and won magnificently. They would have welcomed Jennifer into their midst as a fighter for freedom just like them. I feel so lucky & honored to know Jennifer Williams & would follow her lead any time any where!
This was a “fact” article about the modern Republican Party “faction” and a badly needed constructive criticism of those who claim to be true “Conservatives”. I supported Dennis Pyle for KS governor and interviewed him twice on my verity seeker podcast……Why? Because I studied Laura Kelly and KS AG Schmidt’s previous Senate records and found that Dennis Pyle’s voting record was consistently “Conservative” and he was not afraid to vote “NO” if a bill from either party were putting up omnibus bills with bad legislation mixed with reasonable legislation. I have come to know Dennis Pyle and he should have had the natural right to run as an Independent “WITHOUT PREJIDUCE”. The 2-party monopoly on elections should not exist in a federal republic and I’m shocked that these election rules exist in what is supposed to be a constitutional environment. Party factions are not supposed to be controlling elections or setting up procedural election rules that make it more difficult for a candidate to run for a public office under an almost impossible set of labor intensive, and expensive requirements for those that do not want to be loyal to an party tribe or political faction. THIS SHOULD BE THE KIND OF CANDIDATE WE WANT! Not one representative serving in our governments across the union should be loyal to a party or tribe, but instead they have a duty to be loyal only to their State’s Constitution and the limited and defined U.S. Constitution. Loyalty to God and our faith is a given and is what provides each public servant with the morality needed to be disciplined enough to obey the restraints of their state’s constitution which, in turn, protects the innate rights of the people of Kansas. To wrap this up, let me just say that I’m tired of the Republican tribe loyalty and hypocrisy within the Republican party faction. I have run as a candidate in four elections since 2019 and lost every single one because Republicans are scared to death of a true constitutional conservative. It scares the hell out of them because a public servant who is bound by his/her oath to obey a written constitution removes their power over our government because a person who obeys a constitution serves the general welfare equally and without favor or bias to any one faction, group, organization, corporation, individual, or entity foreign or domestic. Good job Jennifer! It needed to be said and I can say with full confidence that, if Governor Dennis Pyle was representing Kansas today, Kansas would be in support of Texas, our land would not be sold off to the highest foreign bidder, the U.N. would have nothing going on here, and our borders would be secure. The blame should go to Party NeoCons and unaware and uninformed voters, not Dennis Pyle, me, or Trevor Jacobs.
It is far past time to welcome Dennis Pyle back to the Republican Party. It is stronger with his conservative voting record that can help further the pursuit of bold, conservative leadership this party so badly needs.
Jennifer,
You are singing my song, and you hit a lot of high notes. I’d like to add additional stanzas to your song.
From my perspective, there are two (2) Republican parties. One party consists of the pros. They select and support the candidates who will support ‘their’ Republican Party…, not the other Republican Party. The other Republican Party consists of the voters, who are told they need to vote for candidates who will not be representing them. The party of the pros want sheeple in the voting party and in office. This is not a recent issue!!!
The only reason a party would be pushing a loyalty oath is because it knows it will be selecting candidates who will not be representing the party platform. So many Republicans vote Republican, because of the party platform, but if candidates are not going to adhere to the platform, a vote for those candidates are wasted votes.
The Election Integrity focus is a deliberate diversion. Elections are stolen when the party of the pros selects and supports ‘their’ candidates. If a Republican candidate defeats a Democrat, but doesn’t represent the voting Republican Party, what good is election integrity!
Doesn’t a loyalty oath smack of being akin to mandated masking, anti-social distancing, forced injections, etc., etc., etc. Is the GOP the party of personal freedom, or the party of Globalist Owned Puppets?
Thank you for mentioning what I believe is an unconstitutional organization, the MARC (Mid-America Regional Council). I’d add the KCATA (Kansas City Area Transportation Authority) to the discussion. Via grants, they control the 119 cities and 9 counties in the 2-state area. Committee members are appointed, not elected …, yet many hold elected positions on city councils and county boards. This is a conflict of interest, and Kelly and others fully intend to continue populating city councils and county boards with ‘their’ people.
Loyalty is supposed to swing both ways, but it rarely swings both ways in politics. Democrats have the same issues within their party. Neither party wants a strong 3rd party that may offer candidates who might represent the voters, not those who control the parties.
Thank you for your insight and for sharing your knowledge. We address the MARC issues, Kelly’s Climate Action KC Plan, the unconstitutional Global Covenant of Mayors, Local Leaders/Global Agendas like Mayor Skoog’s Bloomberg/Harvard connection https://dev.brandonbrandon.com/local-issues/local-leaders-with-global-agendas/ , Evergy following the UN Agenda, and more in past articles (links in article). People claim they have no idea, so help spread the word! Subscribe for free to receive upcoming articles. And you’re absolutely right about the city councils and county boards – all Climate Action KC people being put in place. Lenexa mayor, Roeland Park mayor, Prairie Village councilman also serving as Mike Kelly’s assistant, and Westwood’s Mayor stealing their city park for big Karbank development, while claiming to love the environment. Waters is suing the citizens in Westwood over their petition to vote to have a say in the matter and he also serves as Prairie Village’s attorney who forced the multi-tenant housing 15-minute neighborhoods against the will of the citizens. Johnson County is under attack – as is the State, the Country, and the World.
Jennifer,
Thank you for your response. It is always nice to know there are others who realize TEPTB (The Evil Predators That Be) who operate in the shadows and behind closed
doors.
I live in Roeland Park, so I’m familiar with the technocratic state of government in the city and the county. I refer to the city as the Omaha Beach for deviancy being introduced into Jo Co. My parents moved into Prairie Village in ’56 to be close to school, church, etc. Unfortunately, the county of today is a degradation of the county in which I grew up … , and many of those in leadership positions are intent upon digging ever deeper.
