Bingesser Announces Campaign for RNC Committeewoman

On June 30, 2023, Wendy Bingesser, the Chair of the Third District Republican Committee, announced that she will campaign to succeed Kim Borchers as Kansas’ Republican National Committeewoman.

“Today, I am announcing my campaign to be the next Republican National Committeewoman from Kansas. The Kansas Republican Party needs a leader who recognizes that we are one team against a unified Democratic Party. We must refocus on our mission of electing Republicans who will defend freedom, promote liberty, and stop the Democratic Party’s radical agenda.”

“My campaign represents an opportunity to find common ground between Republicans and to use this synergy to strengthen the Kansas Republican Party, propel our candidates to victory in the 2024 state legislative elections, and to lay the groundwork for retaking the governor’s office in 2026.”

Wendy is currently serving her third term as a state committee delegate and has been a party officer since her election as Treasurer of the Olathe Republican Party in 2019. Wendy would go on to serve as the Chair of the Olathe Republican Party, as a Johnson County Charter Commissioner, and now as Chair of the Third District Republican Committee.

“I have already started meeting with delegates from across the State of Kansas. I am excited about the broad support our campaign is generating from across the Republican Party spectrum. I look forward to many future conversations as we head into next year’s Kansas Republican Party State Convention.”

The positions of Republican National Committeeman and Committeewoman will both be elected at the 2024 Kansas Republican Party State Convention. Earlier this month, Kim Borchers announced that she would not be seeking reelection to a second term in office.
